| Kent as a County has many different Sports available, from Archery to flying, Motor and bike racing, riding, swimming, bowling, sailing and parasailing, tennis to name but a few. |

 | | There are many Council or privately run leisure centres and organisations, your host would be only too happy to help you find a suitable facility.
Cricket is a popular Summer sport with many Villages and Towns supporting their own teams. The main County Cricket Grounds are at Canterbury and the official website for fixtures can be visited on

Most large towns have public swimming baths some of which will have outdoor pools for summer use. Jet skiing, parasailing, waterskiing, windsurfing and dingy sailing can all be found by the Coast or on Bewl Water, a large reservoir inland. |

There are many Golf Courses in Kent, the most famous being The Royal St George at Sandwich where the British Open is played every few years.  | | Brands Hatch and Lydden are the two motor or bike racing circuits in Kent. Brands hatch is host to the British Super bikes and all details of races and information about the circuits can be found on www.motorsportuk.co.uk

Throughout Kent there are many BHS approved riding stables and bridle paths. Riding is a very popular sport and Kent hosts many events and competitions for example at the Kent County Show and the East Kent Pony Club.
